Style For Dummies: Phulkari Etc.

Style For Dummies: Phulkari Etc.

Hey guys. Current crush = this phulkari scarf. It’s hands down going to be one of my most favorite things this year. I paired it with all black but I cannot wait to wear it with jeans once I can fit back into mine (no one knows when that’s happening). It’s pretty big so you can even spread it out like a dupatta (which will be one of the ways I’ll be attempting this in the future). This scarf-crush is from an online store called Strand of Silk and this is what I picked out for myself but they’ve got a bunch of things from formal desi clothes (for guys too!), to jewelery, bags and accessories. The scarf’s sold out but you can ask them to get it made for you, if you want, thanks.
On a side note, I tried out the Hask Keratin hair treatment and it made my hair SO shiny (if you don’t feel the shine in these images, then you can ignore what I’m saying). Definitely, definitely try out their hair treatments, bros and find the one that works for you: Macadamia and Keratin are my faves for now, Argan oil didn’t do much for me. Ok bye for now.

All outfits details and rishta poses below next image.
Scarf: Strand Of Silk c/o (sold out, similar here) / Shirt: Stylista (actually a dress that I wear as a tunic) / Pants: Koton / Kohlapuris: Stolen from sister very long ago / Stone Ring: Aldo / Silver Ring: Gift from SIL (can also buy from here) / Lipcolor: DMGM Xtreme Chubby Stick in Cayenne Pepper / Nailcolor: Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Tahitian Sunset
Until next time.

  3. I have noticed that you often wear dresses with pants like they are a kameez. I like this idea a lot. where I live its hard to find Pakistani wear and I think this is avery cool hack

I actually really like the simpler cuts of some dresses which I sometimes cant find in desi wear so it works out for me 🙂

  4. Very beautiful scarf. Hopefully, I will be able to lay my hands on something similar here in India. 😀

  5. Oooh I missed mentioning this in my previous comment. I think this scarf would go well with a white chikankari suit. What do you think?
