Fridays

Finally got my hands on the physical copy of the Express Tribune magazine with my article in it, YAAAS. It’s a 3 page spread and it looks so good in person. I’m saying that with a huge grin on my face, FYI. Please read it here if you missed it, while I go force N to read it five more times.

Ever since I started dropping weight, I decided I wouldn’t buy any new clothes (I’m in any case a very lazy shopper) but I’m really out of jeans and so I decided to pick just one pair up this week. Went for a little experimentation and picked up a girlfriend cut and I really, really love it. I’ve never had this color or fit before so I’m excited about going out in them soon. By the way, if you’re anything like me and don’t know what the hell a girlfriend cut is, it’s just a more feminine version of the boyfriend. My body can’t take the boyfriend style at all (I just look like a really sad potato) but the girlfriend seems to be for me (I think).

I mean, why should I put my fruit on something regular when it can be on this bad boy. A friend sent me this from the Dacchi exhibit in Lahore which by the way I’m DYING to go to 🙁 I mean if I did, I’d probably pick up everything? My mom keeps getting stuff from there and torturing me by sending pictures on WhatsApp (thanks, mother). I’ve realised as I grow older, I just value cultural art SO much more than your regular mass produced stuff. Everything is just dripping with character and history. Anyway, the next exhibition is from the 7th-9th of November at the Tollinton Market, if anyone’s interested (I’ll be right here sulking in this corner).

Had Peruvian food at Garden this week, at the JW Marriott. I don’t like stuffy places, this was casual and easy. The food was really great and the interiors just my kind. And no prizes for guessing why I was such a fan of the decor: crazy wall art and lots of greens. I mean, of course. Will review fully on the blog soon.

Anddddd, N and I travel out coming Monday on a quick 5 day trip to a place that’s always been on my list and I’m SO excited. The blog will be off until the next Monday but I’ll be on Insta and Snapchat (shehzeen-r) making sure you never forget me. Won’t share more right now because I’m badtameez like that. (Will tell in a bit, I praaamis).

Have a great weekend, guys.
