It's the last few days before Ramzan ends, hope everyone's having a great time. Went Eid shopping last night and checked out just one store because doing two stores in one day sends me into a rapid seizure (terrible shopper alert). This weekend, I'll be making plans for Eid day, wrapping gifts for everyone (all of our friends have now joined into the gifting thing and we'll be giving tiny presents to each other which is very exciting) and having the last few iftaris at home with N's family who are now all nearly in Dubai (mom/sister/niece/nephew). Hope everyone has a fantastic Eid. Earrings are from Aldo, dupatta is my mom's from the 80's.

Found this simple white kurta at Fab India last night which I think I'll dress up for Eid. Plus I can frequently wear it later as well since white is the bomb (yes?).

Broken into this bad boy a few days ago. My skin routine has been a joke all through Ramzan and I need to fix it immediately since face looks like parson ka paratha.

Guess what I found: A Pakistani guy who sells Urdu books right here in Dubai! He's one of the nicest people I've ever 'met' and I'm so happy I did. He's passionate about Urdu books, has a small but special collection and does it as more of a hobby and not a business, so if you need something, you can take your chances and ask him what he has. I asked him for Jannat Ke Pattay by Nimra Ahmed which so many of you recommended and was ecstatic when he said he had it. You can ask him for a visit to see his entire collection or you can just ask him to courier it to you (cash on delivery). Or even try requesting him for a specific book, he might arrange it for you. You can contact him at his Facebook page Urdu Books Dubai or on WhatsApp at 050-7866897 (I really respect this guy, so please be nice, sometimes we can be rude on the internet so just saying).

New bathroom slippers from Daiso. 10 bucks, party time.

Have a great weekend, guys.

Note: The blog's 3rd anniversary giveaway is LIVE, is worth $3500 and is running for Pakistan and UAE until July 3rd, 11:59 PM GST! Enter right now if you haven't already. Here's the link.

  8. Haha! Cool stuff! I love your easy going way to go about doing things... Many of us get stuck when family is visiting from Pak as they are used to the more desi way of entertaining and may consider the lifestyle here too 'westernized' πŸ˜•

Your comment about the dupatta reminded me of mean girls
"It was my mom's in the 80s."
    "Vintage, adorable."
Love the ensemble. In Pakistan I used to sar khaa my darzi on chand raat and that mankind's Anjaaal used to whip up some beautiful shiz for me to wear in a few hours.
Now with college and work, I'll probs be chilling in PJs or phansi huwi dress patloon.

    Eid Mubarak in advance! :D
